The month of love we like to celebrate it with real stories, that are contagious, that make our hair stand on end and that bring out our romantic side and even a tear or two of happiness.
Elisa and Andres got married last December, after 6 years of dating. And I am going to tell you, not the details of their marriage, but I will take you back in time, to the day they met and the details of how this beautiful love was born.
Elisa was a journalist for El Colombiano and among the many routine interviews she did every day, one afternoon in December 2010 she interviewed Andrés Cepeda, who was in Medellín at the time promoting his jazz album Vivo en Directo. It was a fluid, but purely work-related conversation. "I was very attracted to her beauty when I saw her for the first time, but her intelligence was what caught my attention the most. I was captivated by the way she approached the conversation and the questions she asked me. I knew she was worth it, and that is why I fought for her," says Andrés.
After this first contact, Andres gave her two tickets for the concert that he would have at that time in the city. "At the concert I felt her gaze several times. He dedicated one of his songs to me and told me a couple of things in public. I didn't understand anything and I thought it was just part of the show", explains Elisa.
From then on they kept in touch, Andres would send her songs by mail and invite her to lunch in Medellin or Bogota when Elisa was working in his city. After many invitations to travel with him, he was finally able to convince her to go together to Cartagena and it was on that trip that the relationship took shape. "It wasn't easy to win her over and at first she didn't believe me, because she thought I did the same with everyone, so it took me a while to gain her trust," Andrés concludes.
Finally, Elisa left her job at El Colombiano and went to work in Bogotá to be closer to the one she knew would be the love of her life. And today, with two months as his wife, she feels the happiest and luckiest woman. "It is a different and delicious stage. Andres is an incredible man and from the beginning I knew he was the man I wanted to be with forever," says Elisa.
Elisa found in Andres the man she had always dreamed of, and just like her, if you are clear and project the man you want to be with, it is possible! Do not put limits to your dreams and your goals, that even if he is famous, lives far away or you see him as an impossible love, with determination and confidence you can conquer anything you set your mind to. Don’t ever forget the power you have as a woman!
#SerFelizyDarseCuenta, is the hashtag that Andrés uses frequently, which on most occasions is with her, his great love. They have been happy and being aware of it for 6 years. There is nothing more to say, for me as Elisa's sister and Andrés' sister-in-law it is without a doubt, a very beautiful and unique love!
